38 years. One promise: we answer the phone.

NEPA-PRO has been the team Northeast Pennsylvania families call when something needs handling — for nearly four decades. We're built different on purpose. Read why.

NEPA-PRO started in 1987 in a Scranton garage with one truck, one phone line, and a stubborn belief: people in this part of Pennsylvania deserve a contractor who actually shows up. Almost four decades later, that belief is still the entire company strategy.

We've watched a lot of competitors come and go — the "we do everything" outfits that disappear at the first real emergency, the smooth-talking flippers chasing the latest service-of-the-month, the franchises with rotating crews who don't know your name. We've been here through six recessions, two pandemics, and at least 38 winters. We're still answering the phone.

What changed? The technology, the trucks, the tools, the size of the team. What didn't change: a Northeast Pennsylvania crew, doing Northeast Pennsylvania work, for Northeast Pennsylvania families. Our crew still lives off Route 6. Most of our techs grew up within twenty miles of where they work. When you call us at 2am because the basement is flooding, the person who shows up isn't a stranger from a call center — it's somebody whose kid goes to school with yours.

That's it. That's the whole story. We do good work, we treat people right, we pick up the phone, and we've been doing it since Reagan was president.

What We Stand For

Four rules. Non-negotiable.

Every NEPA-PRO tech, every job, every day. If we ever break one of these, we make it right.

We answer the phone

A real person, every call, including weekends. Members get 24/7 priority. Voicemail is a fallback, not a strategy.

We tell you the truth

If a repair is the better call, we say so. If a replacement is overkill, we'll tell you. No upsells, no scare tactics, no surprise charges.

We finish what we start

Job's not done until it's done right. We come back for warranty work, we follow up after major projects, we close the loop. Every time.

We respect your time

We arrive in the window we promised. We text before we head out. We clean up before we leave. Your time is worth more than ours.

The Journey

A few of our chapters.

'87

NEPA-PRO is founded in Scranton

One truck, one phone, one promise. Started as a general contracting outfit serving Lackawanna County.

'95

Expanded into trades

Added in-house electrical and plumbing crews — meaning you could finally get one number for your whole project.

'08

Survived the recession

While many local outfits shuttered, we doubled down on existing customers. The relationships we kept then are still paying back today.

'15

Launched solar division

NEPA's energy mix was changing. We built solar capacity in-house instead of subcontracting it — keeping quality control where it belongs.

'20

Storm-hardened equipment line

After watching one bad winter destroy three sites, we partnered with SEMS Solar Equipment to bring American-made, NEPA-tested racking to the region.

'26

Subscription property care launches

We turned 38 years of "call us for anything" into a single monthly plan. Same crew, same number, predictable bill.

Where We Work

All of Northeast Pennsylvania.

If you're in any of these counties, we're already nearby. If you're outside the zone, ask us — we still take Estate-tier customers anywhere in PA.

Counties we serve

From the Poconos to the Endless Mountains, our trucks have been on these roads for nearly four decades. We know which back roads close in winter, which neighborhoods have well water, and which townships make permitting a nightmare.

  • Lackawanna County
  • Luzerne County
  • Wayne County
  • Pike County
  • Susquehanna County
  • Wyoming County
  • Monroe County
  • Carbon County
